Bio
Classical discipline with a cinematic edge.
Clement Chow is a Los Angeles-based cellist whose playing brings together old-world training, dramatic instinct, and a deeply expressive sound. His musical path has taken him from solo appearances with the Houston Symphony to orchestral roles with the Riverside Philharmonic and Redlands Symphony, as well as performances with orchestras in Berlin and Munich.
Clement has worked in some of the most respected musical environments in the world, including Aspen Music Festival, Pacific Music Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, and chamber music festivals abroad. He has studied with and performed for many of the great artists and ensembles of the classical tradition, including Lynn Harrell, Ralph Kirshbaum, Heinrich Schiff, the Tokyo String Quartet, the Amadeus String Quartet, and the Alban Berg String Quartet.
